Nicholas You Participates in the Asia Pacific Cities Summit 2025 in Dubai

Nicholas You, Executive Director of the Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation and International Advisor of the Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation, was invited to attend the Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS 2025) held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and to moderate the City Leaders Forum, one of the Summit’s key sessions.
Hosted by the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI) in collaboration with Expo City Dubai, the Summit gathered mayors, urban leaders, and international experts from across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. Discussions focused on urban leadership, resilience, inclusion, and the digital transition.
As a moderator, Mr. You facilitated exchanges on innovative approaches to inclusive and sustainable urban governance, and shared experiences from the Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation in promoting city-to-city learning and South–South cooperation.
His participation further enhanced the visibility of the Guangzhou Award and the Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation, contributing to stronger partnerships and dialogue ahead of the 7th Cycle of the Guangzhou Award.
