Special Feature on Eco-smart and Green Development
With the theme on “Ecological Wisdom, One Belt and One Road, Green Development”, the 2015 Conference on Urban Development and Planning is to take place in the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center on July 22-23, 2015. In recent years, China has vigorously promoted urbanization and made constructive exploration and huge contribution to the global urbanization. In the meantime, ecological and smart cities have become popular worldwide and the global cities are embarking on a new stage of development. In such a context, lessons and experience learnt from initiatives in this regard are precious to both Chinese and foreign cities.
This issue of Newsletter focuses on “eco-smart and green development” and picks out representative initiatives from the Guangzhou Award submissions to share the wisdom and discuss the practices together with cities worldwide.
