In July 2013, the first edition of journal of Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation was published within the cooperation between Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation and Urban Insight, the professional magazine on urban studies.

The journal is intended to be a global interactive platform, by gathering worldwide excellent ideas on urban studies, and publicizing research outcomes by the Institute.
