Working group of Guangzhou Award attends NUS InnvoFest UnBound
A delegation of Secretariat of Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation, led by Mr. Lei Weiju, Deputy Director General of Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Office, attended the NUS InnvoFest UnBound in Singapore on May 17 and 18.
On the morning of May 17, Mr. Lei had a 20-minute dialogue (Urban Innovation: The Case of Guangzhou) with Yossi Vardi, Co-Chairman of NUS InnvoFest UnBound. It was an in-depth discussion on urban innovation and sustainable development. Taking this opportunity, Mr. Lei introduced the Guangzhou Award and invited the institutions to register or recommend programs to be registered for the award. The audience of the dialogue included hundreds of representatives from local governments, business, institutions of higher education, and research institutes.
During the visit, Mr. Lei also met with Jeremie Kletzkine, Vice President of Start-up Nation Central and discussed start-up project match-making as well as potential partnership with regards to the Guangzhou Award.
