Guangzhou Award Exhibition in the 24th Guangzhou Fair well received by the Public
From August 26-29, 2016, the 24th Guangzhou Fair, jointly hosted by Guangzhou Municipal Government and China Foreign Trade Center, was held in Area A, China Import and Export Fair Complex.
The fair this year saw the debut of Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) city exhibition, which showcased the images, pillar industries and famous brands of cities in the region and served as another platform to connect PPRD. Open to the public, the event this year attracted large crowds.
At the invitation of the 24th Guangzhou Fair, UCLG Community on Urban Innovation staged a Guangzhou Award exhibition in the venue. It displayed achievements Guangzhou made in its multilateral and the vision of Guangzhou Award, shared urban innovation practices, demonstrated cities’ contributions in promoting low-carbon life and encouraged more people to lead a low-carbon lifestyle.
The Guangzhou Award exhibition won great acclaim from the public and some institutions. More than 800 people visited the Guangzhou Award exhibition, among whom more than 400 did a Guangzhou Award raffle (followed the Guangzhou Award official WeChat account, filled out a questionnaire in it and drew the raffle).
