Innovative projects popular at Guangzhou innovation forum
More than 73 promising projects were put on show at the 2016 Guangzhou -- Hong Kong -- Macao -- Taiwan Science and Technology Innovation Forum and Project Matchmaking, held at Guangzhou Library on Dec 6, 10 of which receiving cooperation intent.
As one of the series of events of the One Award, One Conference and One Festival, the forum aims to promote innovation with a global vision and build a platform for communication on innovation and development in technical fields such as biological medicine, new material, smart manufacturing, supercomputing, and big data.
Co-hosted by the Guangzhou Science Technology and Innovation Commission and Guangzhou Research Institute of Optical-Mechanical-Electrical Technology, the forum attracted more than 100 experts and representatives from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia and beyond.

The forum also invited experts from home and abroad to give keynote speeches, sharing their expertise and far-sighted ideas on innovation.
A total of 73 excellent projects selected out of over 130, and 50 enterprises were assembled under one roof to encourage innovative collaboration and co-development between enterprises and experts.

Hot projects, such as printed solar cells and world's leading radar computing application, were popular among the event's attendees.
The forum serves as a platform for the dissemination of advanced ideas, international scientific and technological cooperation, and interaction among enterprises, universities and research institutes in Guangzhou and further afield.
