Guangzhou Award Green Week proves success
The Guangzhou Award Green Week activity came to a successful conclusion on Nov 19 with the sponsor encouraging global fans to take action to contribute to sustainable urban development on social media.
Launched by Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation (Guangzhou Award), the event which began on Nov 13 was themed "Let's go green" and received extensive attention and participation. More than 1,000 people from across the globe shared green and environmental information and practices on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
The week was designed to promote green lifestyles and the Guangzhou Award, as well as promoting the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the New Urban Agenda.
