Guangzhou Award Joins the 31st Guangzhou Fair
The Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation (Guangzhou Award) is participating in the 31st Guangzhou Fair, displaying its vision and actions on improving sustainability and good governance in cities and regions. Opend on August 25th, the 31st Guangzhou Fair is hosted at the China Import and Export Fair Pavilion by the People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality, and will run through August 28th.
This year, Guangzhou Award's booth features the general introduction of the Award, the Global Mayors Forum, and Guangzhou's efforts to promote sustainable development goals. By seting up graphic and video display sections, it showcases the Guangzhou Award and the Global Mayors Forum in an all-around way, and presents Guangzhou’s efforts on high-quality opening up. In so doing, it aims at promoting the concept of urban innovation and sustainable development.
Founded in 1993, the Guangzhou Fair has been successfully held for 30 sessions. With the theme of "High-quality Development and High-level Integration," the fair sets up three comprehensive exhibitions and four professional exhibitions, during which related meetings and forum activities are held, aiming to build a high-quality platform integrating exhibition, promotion, negotiation, and cooperation for the government and enterprises, and to build a solid industrial system with high-level trade, promoting Guangzhou's economic and social development of high quality.
