【video】The VR Exhibition of the Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation
In December 2019, “The Spirit of Cities”-A Review of Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Award exhibition") was successfully held at the Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Center. The exhibition was set to showcase the rich experience and achievements in previous cycles of Guangzhou Awards as well as to present Guangzhou’s diverse culture and its appeal. Besides, the concept of urban innovation was popularized to the public too. In April this year, the Guangzhou Award exhibition completed the construction of the second phase updating, added the fifth Guangzhou Award shortlisted city initiatives, a special column about fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, showcasing the latest practices of global urban innovation and sharing the wisdom with the world. To further promote the exhibition, the Guangzhou Award used VR technology to build an online virtual exhibition as well. On May 14, the VR Exhibition of Guangzhou Award was officially released to the public.
