The unveiling ceremony of A Review of Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation
On 5th December, the unveiling ceremony of The Spirit of Cities, also known as A Review of Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation, was held in Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Centre.
Dr. Bernadia Irawati Tjandradewi (Secretary General of UCLG ASPAC), Octavi de la Varga (Secretary General of the Metropolis) and principle of the centre attended the ceremony and unveiled the exhibition. More than 40 governors and experts from cities worldwide have witnessed the unveiling ceremony.
The main theme of the exhibition is The Spirit of Cities, which not only shows achievements of Guangzhou actively participating in the urban governance, but also stimulates enthusiasm of citizens in Guangzhou to play their role in city construction. The best urban governance cases are on display, and interactive public activities are welcoming citizens to join in.
