Guangzhou delegates visits the 2012 Guangzhou Award short-listed city: Sylhet, Bangladesh

Zhao Fang, deputy secretary general of Guangzhou government pays a visit to the program—A Disaster Resilient Future: Mobilizing Communities and Institution for Effective Risk Reduction.
At the invitation of Sylhet Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury, Zhao Fang, Deputy Secretary General of Guangzhou Municipal Government, visited Sylhet, Bangladesh with Guangzhou delegation on March 19.
During his visit, Zhao had a meeting with Chowdhury and paid a visit to the program—A Disaster Resilient Future: Mobilizing Communities and Institution for Effective Risk Reduction which was one of the 15 short-listed cities of the 2012 Guangzhou Award.
He also attended series events of China International Sister Cities Conference & the 2nd Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation and Guangzhou International Urban Innovation Conference, and extended an invitation to Sylhet on behalf of the Guangzhou city.
