On June 9, at the invitation of the city government of Hamamatsu of Japan, a team from Guangzhou attended the Asia-Pacific Section of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG ASPAC) Executive Bureau Meeting at Hamamatsu, Japan. At the meeting, the delegation of Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou also gave a brief account of what Guangzhou had achieved over the years in its cooperation with the UCLG headquarters, as well as an introduction about the 2nd Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation.
