A delegation led by Ivan Kuznetsov, deputy mayor of Kazan, Russia, arrived in Guangzhou for a three-day visit on March 17. Kazan is an international sister city of Guangzhou and co-president city of UCLG.

On the morning of March 18, Mr. Cai Chaolin, deputy mayor of Guangzhou, met the delegation and shared views on facilitating communication and cooperation and fostering trade and cultural exchanges as well as mutual visits through platforms such as UCLG and Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation (the Guangzhou Award). During the meeting, Mr. Cai extended an invitation to Kazan for participating in the 3rd Guangzhou Award, which received positive feedback from Mr. Ivan Kuznetsov.
