ICLEI delegation visits Guangzhou to study eco-city construction and urban planning
A three-member delegation from ICLEI, a strategic partner of Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation (GIUI), visited the city of Guangzhou on July 1. Accompanied by GIUI representatives, Mrs. Monika Zimmermann, ICLEI Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Konrad Otto-Zimmermann, Founding Director of ICLEI East Asia Secretariat and Mr. Zhu Shu, Regional Director of ICLEI East Asia Secretariat visited Haizhu Wetland and Huacheng Square, which are located in the city central axis, to experience the eco-city construction and urban planning of the city. Both sides also exchanged ideas on jointly promoting the sustainable development of Guangzhou.
