First Urban Innovation Forum held in Guangzhou library
The first Urban Innovation Forum took place on January 17 in Guangzhou Library which cooperated with Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Office and Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation as co-hosts.
Being themed on “urban innovation” and formulated in the form of “one city, one story”, this forum shared the field research experience in cities shortlisted for the 2nd Guangzhou Award. Two cases delivered included “Youth Lead the Change” in Boston, USA, and “Education Parks for Youth” in Antioquia, Colombia.
The event invited Mr. Hu Gang as the keynote speaker, who is the Professor of School of Public Administration and Emergency Management of Ji’nan University and President of Institute for South China Cities. About 100 other participants comprised members of the Institute, experts from domestic academic institutions, teachers and students from universities and colleges.
