Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government Mr. Liu Baochun visited the School of Government at Sun Yat-sen University to discuss the Second Workshop for Thought Leaders Learning from Urban Innovation on March 28.

Liu said that the first workshop, held in November 2015, was a great success and facilitated several widely praised exchanges between global cities. The second workshop is scheduled for the end of this year and will focus on current hot topics in global urban development.

Scholars shared their insights on the preparation for the second workshop, claiming the workshop will serve to share Guangzhou's fruitful results with other cities and will help develop Guangzhou into a modern, innovative and internationally influential city.
