Former manager of Metropolis Regional Office visits Guangzhou
Ms. Mary Lewin, former manager of the Metropolis Regional Office for Asia Pacific meets with Mr. Liu Baochun, Director General of Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government, in Guangzhou, June 1.
Ms. Mary Lewin, former manager of the Metropolis Regional Office for Asia Pacific visited Guangzhou on June 1 to share her experiences in international affairs management.
During the visit, Ms. Lewin and Mr. Liu Baochun, Director General of Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government and Secretary of Metropolis Asia-Pacific Regional Office, exchanged views on the role and future development of the Metropolis Asia-Pacific Office.
Ms. Lewin also visited Guangzhou's urban renewal projects "Cantonese Opera Art Museum" and "Yongqing Fang"— a renovation alleyway with an incubator, a hotel and an education center as well as historical building and business area, and held talks with the Guangzhou Urban Renewal Bureau.
Retired from the Victorian Government Department of Planning and Community Development (for Melbourne), Ms. Lewin has accumulated extensive experience in global relationship-building and in leading international urban and environmental projects.
