Ambassador of UCLG-ASPAC (United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific), Mr. Peter Woods, made a four-day visit to Guangzhou from June 12 to 15, focusing on friendly exchanges and cooperation between Australian cities and Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province.

During his visit, Mr. Peter Woods held discussions with representatives from the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Commerce, Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as local enterprises.

He also attended the sixth Guangzhou International Food & Ingredients Fair, which was held in the city from June 14 to 17.
