7月20日上午，市委外办市管一级调研员、广州国际城市创新研究会会长旷昌平带队赴亚洲城市与建筑联盟调研，参观亚洲城市与建筑联盟城市组国际设计学习中心，了解其创新设计理念和技术应用情况，并就以广州国际城市创新奖和全球市长论坛等广州市创设的国际交流平台，加强城市建筑与规划领域国际合作进行研讨交流。
其间，广州国际城市创新研究会与亚洲城市与建筑联盟签订了合作备忘录，加强双方战略合作。广州国际城市创新研究会副会长刘平清共同参加了调研。
